Our Two Funds

General Fund

This fund primarily supports the ministry of Jesmond Parish Church — including stipends for ministry staff, evangelism and discipleship initiatives, training and local outreach, the upkeep of church premises and equipment, and associated administrative and utility costs  — as well as other gospel projects consistent with the Trust’s objectives.

Grants from the General Fund are made at the trustees’ discretion in accordance with the Grant-Making Policy, and the Grant Agreement between The Jesmond Trust and the Jesmond Parochial Church Council (Jesmond PCC).

World Mission Fund

This fund supports Jesmond Parish Church’s world mission partners.

It is a restricted fund: donations given to this fund are used exclusively for global mission purposes in line with the Trust’s doctrinal basis and funding criteria. The  allocation of funds to specific mission partners is at the discretion of the trustees, in consultation with the mission partners, Jesmond Parish Church and any relevant mission agencies. The Trust does not invite or accept restricted gifts for specific mission partners, and donors may instead give directly via the mission agency that supports them if they wish to support particular individuals.
